Group of men attack Pune technician and his wife and damage their car with iron rods and sticks | video

In a horrifying video, a 42-year-old software engineer from Sus in Pune, Maharashtra, and his wife were allegedly chased and attacked by a group of men on motorcycles on Lavale-Nande Road on Saturday evening. It was alleged that her car was allegedly chased near Nande village and damaged with iron rods to stop her.

The couple was followed by the mob until they reached their home in Sus. Following the incident, the victim reported the matter to the police.

According to the complaint, the complainant Ravi Karnani and his wife were attacked while they were traveling on the Lavale-Nande road. Times of India reported. It was suspected that his car was attacked by a group of locals with sticks and rods.

He further claimed that the attackers used two motorcycles and a car to chase his car at a speed of 80 kmph and force them to stop.

“We were attacked!!! There were a total of 40 people in different bags with iron rods, stones and sticks attacking our car, with 2 bikes and a car full of local thugs chasing us at a speed of 80km/h!!! The local police sided with them and said they were patrolling,” Ravi Karnani said on X while sharing a video of the incident.

He also posted pictures of the damage her car sustained in the incident.

The techie told TOI that the incident took place when the couple was heading to Bhukum near Bhugaon for dinner at a friend’s house. “Our pet was with us. On the way home we took the Nande route to get home in Sus.”

I get home around 1:30 a.m. on Sunday. Some of them carried iron bars and asked me to stop the car, but I didn’t. Suddenly two motorcycles started chasing our car. The passengers carrying iron bars told us to stop and hit our car with iron bars.”
