First alert weather day 5/10 p.m

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – 🌞☁️ Good morning, radiant souls! ☁️🌞

As dawn breaks and the first light of the sun graces the sky, it brings with it the promise of a new day full of possibilities and heavenly wonders. I’m Jaden Knowles, and I’m here to walk you through the atmospheric changes we’ll be experiencing in the coming days.

Today: Chance of storms increasing

Wednesday A cooler day is on the horizon as a cold front brings rain and storms. Expect highs of 29°C with partly cloudy skies and a few storms that could produce large hail and gusty winds. Wednesday is a first weather advisory day, so stay tuned throughout the day.

Weekly outlook: Sunny and warm with a few chances of storms

Thursday: Another chance for widespread showers and thunderstorms, some potentially strong and severe, as another storm system approaches. Highs will be around 30°C, partly cloudy throughout the day with southerly winds blowing at 10-15mph.

Friday: We’ll dry out just in time for the weekend with highs of 90°F under mostly sunny skies and southwest winds of 10-20 mph.

Early next weekend: Gradual warm-up

Saturday: Another hot day with temperatures reaching 35°C. Enjoy partly cloudy skies with southwest winds 10-15 mph. There is a chance of a scattered shower or two. Congratulations on graduation!

Sunday: Temperatures will remain above 35 degrees with a high of 37 degrees. We will continue to experience mostly sunny skies and gentle southerly winds at 10-15 mph. It will be partly cloudy throughout the day.

Early next week: Warm temperatures

Monday: We will continue with temperatures in the 90s. Expect highs of 90°F and mostly sunny skies. Winds will be from the north at a speed of 10-15 miles per hour.

Tuesday: We will see highs of 30°C and mostly sunny skies again. Winds will be easterly at 10-15 miles per hour. We can expect lows to be in the lower 60s overnight.
