Burglary investigations in Chandler lead to massive police deployment

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — An investigation into an apparent burglary sparked a massive police response in a Chandler neighborhood Tuesday afternoon.

Details are limited at this time, but Chandler police told Arizona’s Family that several suspects were arrested following an ongoing investigation “in connection with a burglary” near Dobson and Ray Road.

Video from an Arizona’s Family drone showed a heavy police presence and several armored vehicles in the area in connection with the incident.

Police officials confirmed that a modified curfew had been imposed on surrounding schools as a precautionary measure.

Additionally, road restrictions are in effect in the area and motorists are asked to avoid Pennington Drive south of Gila Lane.
