Props and best bets for Tulane vs Charlotte players – College Football Week 10

Props and best bets for Tulane vs Charlotte players – College Football Week 10

Bet #1: Makhi Hughes 2+ TDs

+110 on DraftKings

Hidden behind runaway or nothing military schools lie the Army and Navy Green wave at Tulanewho are allowing 216.8 yards per game on the field, which is 12th in the nation.

They are led by running back Makhi Hughes, who is closing in on 1,000 yards rushing and will need just 61 yards to reach that milestone in his ninth game.

Hughes leads the team in TDs, scoring five in a row and nine on the season. During his current five-game winning streak, the sophomore linebacker has scored multiple TDs twice.

The Charlotte 49ers they rank fourth in the American Athletic Conference, giving up 184.4 yards per game, and their 17 rushing TDs allowed rank second in the AAC.

Hughes will almost certainly find his way into the end zone thanks to Tulane’s intense offense, but he will be better off scoring twice against Charlotte’s suspect defense.

Prop Bet #2: Darian Mensah Under 182.5 passing yards

-117 in Cezarach

Freshman forward Darian Mensah has been doing quite well on the court, leading the Green Wave to five straight wins.

However, outside of a 326-yard passing gem in a win over USF, Mensah remains fairly quiet on the passing sheet. He has thrown for 175 yards or less five times in his last six games, with most of the damage coming from the ground game.

Charlotte ranks 10th in the AAC in pass defense, allowing 230.8 yards per game, and has five quarterbacks who can throw for over 200 yards or more. While those stats are tempting considering the end, Mensah has averaged just 12.6 pass attempts over five straight games.

Meanwhile, Tulane is averaging 43 tackles per game and I think they are smart enough not to cut out their bread and butter. Look for the Green Wave to stay on script on Thursday.

Bet #3: O’Mega Blake anytime TD

+250 on FanDuel

If Charlotte wants to keep up with one of the best teams in the country, O’Mega Blake will have to find a way to contribute.

The 49ers junior receiver leads the team in receptions and yards, averaging 23.3 yards per catch. He also leads all pass catchers in TD receptions with five, and no other receiver on the roster has more than two. He is only behind Hahsaun Wilson at the top of the team with six goals.

Blake will be facing a Tulane defense that is passing for over 226 yards through the air, but more importantly, ranks fifth in touchdown passes allowed.

Blake, who had three touchdowns for 128 yards in the victory over Memphis, has now scored four touchdowns in his last five games for Charlotte. He will be in a good position to take the number 6 spot in the match against the Green Wave.
