Pineville Police Officer Arrested for Domestic Battery

PINEVILLE, La. (KALB) – A Pineville police officer has been arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and aggravated assault, according to the Rapides Parish Sheriff’s Office and Pineville Police.

RPSO said it learned of a disturbance that occurred on Oct. 30 in the 4000 block of Rigollette Road. The victim stated that a battery and gun were discharged following a verbal altercation.

The suspect was identified as 30-year-old Lacy Ann Fields. She was arrested on the above charges and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center. Fields was released on October 31 on $25,000 bail.

Detectives said the investigation is ongoing.

Pineville police said that per department policy, Fields was placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of an internal investigation.

PPD also released the following statement:
