Verma-Lallian also shared that she fell in love with the house as soon as the agent showed it to her.

“The moment I walked into the house, I absolutely fell in love with the furnishings, especially the view of the Pacific Ocean,” she said in the caption. “We knew he was ‘the one’ and decided to write an offer for it immediately.”

“As a developer, I believe that every property has a history that we may or may not know about, and each house carries the energy that the current owner brings,” she wrote. “I am a Hindu and it is customary to bless and pray every time you buy a new house. She said of Perry: “We decided to honor the positive aspects of the previous owner’s life, his enormous talent and all the joy he brought to so many people. The decision to buy the house had nothing to do with the previous owner and everything to do with our love for the house.

“Happy Diwali to you all!! May the new year be filled with peace, joy and prosperity,” she wrote at the end of her post.
