A teenager was killed and another injured in a crash in Warren County

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a teenager and injured another in Warren County.

According to a THP report, a Kentworth tractor-trailer was traveling on State Route 56 and a 2013 Ford Fusion was traveling on Capshaw Road when it reached the intersection with SR56 on Wednesday morning.

The vehicles collided and traveled a short distance north before the Ford left the roadway and collided with a fence.

The Ford drove into the path of a tractor-trailer while attempting to turn left onto SR56. The vehicles collided and traveled a short distance north before the Ford left the roadway and collided with a fence.

The 72-year-old tractor-trailer driver did not suffer any injuries. Meanwhile, the 16-year-old driver was killed and the 15-year-old passenger was injured.

All people involved in the accident were wearing seat belts. No charges have been filed in connection with this fatal accident.
